Fixtures Our racing season is different to most other Irish racecourses, in that our season straddles two calendar years. Generally, Thurles race from late October to late March, with 11 fixtures in that period. Our present seasons list 10  / 11  is as follows. October - Thurs 20th, 1st race at 2.15, 3 Chases, 4 Hurdles featuring the 22 furlong Premier County Hurdle of €15,000 for 5 yr and up that have not won more than 2 hurdles since 25/04/10 and a 18 furlong Mares Chase for 5yr and up that have not won more than 1 chase. November - Thurs 3rd, 1st race at 12.55, 3 Chases, 3 Hurdles and 1 Bumper, featuring the 22 furlong Thurles Chase of €25,000 Listed for 5 yr and up that have not won chases value more then €50,000 since 25/04/10 and a 18 furlong Martinstown Stud Series Hand. Chase of €12,500. November - Thurs 17th, 1st race at 12.45. 2 Steeplechases,    4 Hurdles and 1 Bumper. Featuring the 22.5 furlong I.N.H.S.C. Nov. Hrd of €14,000 for 5 yr and up that have not won more than 1 hurdle and a 22.5 furlong Martinstown Stud Series Hand Hurd. November - Thurs 24th,  1st race at 12.45.  3 steeplechases,     4 Hurdle races. Featuring the 24 furlong Martinstown Stud Series Hand Hurd of €12,500 and a 24 furlong Chase for 5 yr and up for horses that have not won more than 2 chases and a 22.5 furlong Hurdle for 5 yr and up that have not won more than 2 hurdles.  December - Thursday 22nd,  1st race 12.40.  2 steeplechases 4 Hurdle races and 1 Bumper.  Feature race is the 16 furlong €27,500. Listed Horse & Jockey Hotel Hurdle for 4 yr and up that have not won a hurdle before the 25/04/10 and since not won a Grd 1 or Grd 2. Also the 16 furlong Gift Horse Gallery Hurdle for Mares that have not won more than 1 hurdle value not more than €10,000. January - Saturday 7th., 1st Race  12.45. 2 Steeplechases, and 4 Hurdles with 1 Bumper.  Feature race is the €30,000 Gd. 3 Phil Sweeney Steeplechase.       (conditions and value of races to be confirmed) January - Thurs. 19th. 4 Hurdles, 3 Chases, 1 Bumper 1st. race 1.30. featuring The MATTY RYAN MEMORIAL KINLOCH BRAE Chase Grd 2 of €50,000 and The Coolmore N.
